Admission Requirements and Procedures for the Master’s Degree

General Conditions for Admission to the Master’s Program

• The applicant must hold a Diploma in the same specialization from a recognized university. The College Council (based on the recommendation of the Department Council) may add other necessary conditions.

• A student may be accepted in a different specialization from their undergraduate degree based on a recommendation from the Department Council and in accordance with the conditions it sets.

• The department may require the student to complete a number of prerequisite (bridging) courses from the previous stage, provided that:

  • The duration of these prerequisite courses shall not exceed two academic semesters.
  • Each prerequisite course must be passed on the first attempt with a grade of no less than “Good.”
  • The cumulative GPA of the prerequisite courses must be no less than “Good.”

• Registration in the Master’s program is not allowed until all prerequisite courses are passed. The department may permit registration in graduate courses if only one prerequisite course remains.

• The duration of prerequisite courses is not counted within the official period for obtaining the degree.

• Prerequisite courses are not included in calculating the cumulative GPA of the graduate program.

• For programs requiring English proficiency, applicants must submit proof via TOEFL, IELTS, or an equivalent test. Applicants are exempt if they hold a university degree taught in English or pass the test set by the college.
