Pharmacology; It is a science that studies drugs and their properties, composition of drugs and their various effects. Pharmacy: the profession of a pharmacist, a health profession that links health sciences with chemical sciences, and is responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of pharmaceuticals. The pharmacy profession includes many traditional roles, such as: formulating and dispensing medicines, and also includes providing more modern services related to health care, including clinical services, reviewing the safety and efficacy of medicines, and providing information about medicines. Thus, pharmacists are the experts in drug treatment and synthetic drugs, and the first health professionals who determine the optimal use of medication; To provide positive health outcomes for patients.

The study system in the College of Pharmacy:
The duration of the study was five years, at the beginning, then only four years, but it was extended again to five years, the first year being the preparatory year, in order to study primary natural sciences, as the student studies the basic rules in the College of Science before joining the College of Pharmacy
